Good news, the Government announced today that there would be no near term reduction in the PV feed-in tariff rates. There had been much speculation that the rates may be reduced earlier and faster than the initial announcement last year, but now that the rates remain unchanged is a significant boost to the PV industry. The rates are still set to regress in April 2012 so if you are considering installing a system, it is advisable still to complete your installation before that date.
