There are still many denialists who don't accept that global warming is a dangerous reality and simply part of natural cycles......can anybody really believe today that since the population on this planet has grown from 800 million to nearly 7 billion in three centuries that there is no detrimental impact on our planet.....? Over 25 billions of carbon are being put into the atmosphere every year - surely it is madness to deny that this cannot have a significant negative impact on the planet.........

Often the response to this is to say that small measures have no significant impact, but this is lazy and self-defeating logic. If there were no pioneers to blaze the trail and start trying to bring about change, our civilisation would much the poorer in so many areas.

You can have an impact, not just because of any saving you can make, but the ripple effect and influence your behavious change will have on others.
