Home energy check

Under the capital grant scheme, in order to secure a Low Carbon Buildings Grant, you needed to undertake a number of energy efficient measures in your home to ensure you are already minimising your energy requirements.

These include:
  • Loft insulation
  • Cavity wall insulation
  • Low energy light bulbs
  • Timers and controls for your heating system

While these are no longer part of the application process, these measures should still be actively pursued by anyone looking to conserve energy
