System quotes

Our lowest cost standard system is a 1.2kW solar array designed to be ground mounted on an easy to assemble metal frame. This can be done readily by the householder and does not require specialist or qualified installers. Once the frame itself is assembled, the solar panels easily slide into the structure and are simply connected together using cables supplied.

The solar array then needs to be connected to the main electricity supply in the house, so armour cabling needs to be laid from the array to the houses’s fusebox consumer unit. This can be done by the householder or we can provide this service at extra cost. It is imperative that proper armour cabling is used for this connection.

Most customers however would prefer us to provide a complete installation service. For roof mounted systems this will require scaffolding. We can supply systems to fit most roof styles and shapes, and can quote for any size system required. Our most popular sized systems are 1.44kW, 1.8kW and 2.52kW.

Finally the system needs to be actually connected, which must only be done by our certified installer. This is most important both for ensuring that the system is safe and operates correctly, but also to ensure that you are eligible for the feed-in tariff.

To work out the projected cost of your system, please look at our order form, which shows the price of the core system and related options. Access our simple payback calculator to see how the payback period could change depending on current and projected electricity prices, based on the yield of your system.
